The view from the patio and from my balcony was breathtaking! Although I visited in the middle of April, the natural beauty of the Maritine Alps, and the picturesque and historic city of Grasse were stunning.

Helpfull staff, good breakfast, bathroom basic but OK
The hotel is located at a busy road, rather isolated at the outskirts of Grasse. Parking area difficult to enter. Rooms are outdated. Uncomfortable beds.

Staff friendly , room was a bit samll but nice with very good view to cannes bay. The didnt charge the cost of the parking for 1 day.
Wifi didnt work because of bad weather of days before. 10-15 minutes from city centre walking( the way it is quite tough).

The view and location
I think that if the hotel states that it permits pets, it should provide information as to where one can go with the pet, I.E., green facilities on the premises or a nearby park. In the case of the Mandarin, it would have been useful if one of the small terraces was green so as to allow dogs to relieve themselves as the surroundings around the hotel made it impossible to walk the dog along the street.

The breakfast was quite okay and the staff speaking English was very nice and gentle.
We have to pay by credit card to make local phone calls and we had to drag our luggage up though narrow passage to our room.

The views from the terrace. Breakfast good. Receptionist was the cook as well and did a good job in welcoming us as best she could!
Our room was in the basement. Access with heavy cases difficult. Small room, no chairs. TV screen had very small viewing angle - useless. Access to car park bordering on difficult.

Excellent welcome from the staff. Very good breakfast, including home baked cookies one morning. Wonderful situation.
The hotel is situtated up a long slope or steps from town which gives it its wonderful situation but would not be suitable for the elderlyor infirm.

To me a great hotel is measured by its staff. Everyone at the Mandarina was very kind and helpful and made my stay very enjoyable indeed! Thank you Jordan, Hugo and, of course, Marie-Low, Forgive me not knowing the correct spelling for my Gypsy!! l. Gordon

Good staff, friendly and helpful. Facilities generally good. easy to find.
Parking facilities generally poor and difficult. Some rooms did not appear to have been renovated as stated. Had to change room due to some problems. A bit of a climb to hotel from town.

Every room has a really wonderfull view. The room was generally ok.
When the hotel is full, there is not enough parking space for all guests. A free parking area is at the end of the street, but it's about 10 minutes walk.

Breakfast on the terrace
Hotel is a bit run down - could do with freshening up, would recommend with caveats
